Maria was born in Madrid where she completed five years of Acting training, a BA in English Language and Literature, a Vocational Training in Lighting, Photography and Camera Operating. After graduating she worked in theatre touring Spain for three years before moving to England where she did a Postgraduate in Acting at East 15 Acting School.
